Terms of Use
Early-stage version · Last updated 2026
Hi — L&D Pro is a free, early-stage set of learning & development tools that I (Cyrus Sepasi) build and run on my own. It isn't a company, and I'm not selling anything. These terms are short, in plain language, and mostly exist so we both know what to expect. By creating an account or using the apps, you agree to them.
1. What this is
L&D Pro is a personal, non-commercial project offered free of charge so people can try it and give feedback. There are no paid plans or subscriptions — everyone gets a working account for free. I may add, change, or remove features at any time as I keep building.
2. It's early-stage, and provided “as is”
Expect rough edges. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. I don't guarantee that it will be uptime-reliable, bug-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose, and I don't guarantee that your data won't be lost. Please keep your own copies of anything important — don't rely on L&D Proas the only place your work lives.
3. Your account & fair use
You agree to use L&D Pro responsibly and in good faith. Please don't:
- upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content;
- try to break, overload, or circumvent the security of the service;
- abuse other users, or access data that isn't yours;
- misrepresent who you are.
You're responsible for what happens under your account. I may suspend or remove access that puts the service or other users at risk.
4. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the courses, portfolios, and other content you create or upload. You simply grant me permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to run the service for you (for example, generating a SCORM package or showing a portfolio you chose to share). I don't claim your work, and I won't sell it. You can delete your content, or ask me to delete your account, at any time.
5. Limitation of liability
This is a free tool run by one person. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyrus Sepasi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost data, lost profits, or downtime, arising from your use of (or inability to use) L&D Pro. To the extent any liability can't be excluded, my total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid to use the service — which, since it's free, is US $0. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
6. Donations are support, not a purchase
If you find L&D Pro useful and want to help cover the time and hosting costs, you can chip in through Buy Me a Coffee or Patreon. These contributions are voluntary support and not a purchase. They don't buy a paid product, and they don't guarantee any specific feature, support response time, service level, or continued development on any timeline. As a thank-you, and to help offset hosting costs, supporters at different levels may receive higher usage allowances (for example, more courses, exports, or portfolios) than the free tier — this is a courtesy, not a commercial license, it isn't refundable, and it isn't guaranteed on any timeline. Thank you, genuinely, if you decide to.
7. Changes & ending access
Because this is an evolving early-stage project, I may update these terms or change, pause, or shut down the service at any time. If I make a meaningful change, I'll try to note it here. Continuing to use L&D Pro after a change means you accept the updated terms.
